Blake Jenner as Ryder Lynn is just perfection.

I relate so much to Ryder’s story line about his dyslexia. I went through all primary & high school with teachers telling me it was just my confidence & quietness why I wasn’t very bright or focused. I’ve always had trouble with work, but I’ve used techniques to understand my work more.

But not only two years ago I found out I have meers irlen meaning I have to wear colored lenses glasses to help me read on black or white/working on the laptop/watching tv, I’m partially dyslexic as well having dyscalculia which I have trouble with maths and understanding maths.

Even with Ryder saying he feels like he’s stupid, I felt the exact same never knowing what was wrong with me feeling like all my friends and everyone was smarter than me. Every day & night crying that I couldn’t my homework right or frightened to show people my work, but now finding out for myself has helped me grow as a person and understand myself more with my learning difficulties. I LOVE being me I know I’m different and even though it’ll take a while to analyse & evaluate most things, it feels like a weight off my shoulders and I know my parents are always there for me no matter what!
